3. Faster Payment System (FPS) with electronic Direct Debit Authorisation (eDDA) set up in the Octopus App
4. Designated bank app via the Octopus App
5. UnionPay App via Octopus App

As with all Octopus, customers can also apply for AAVS for their Huawei Pay Octopus, or top up by cash. The maximum stored value of a Huawei Pay Octopus is HK$3,000, which enables customers to make a wide range of purchases at retails, restaurants and convenience stores.

To top up an Octopus in the Octopus App with credit/debit card in Huawei Pay, please follow the steps below:

• Open the Octopus App and select the "Top Up" button next to the Huawei Pay Octopus;
• Select "Credit Cards on Huawei Pay", then input top up amount and press "Top Up" to proceed;
• Proceed with Huawei authentication;
• Press "DONE" to complete top up of Huawei Pay Octopus.

To top up a Huawei Pay Octopus in the Octopus App with UnionPay App, please follow the steps below:

• Open the Octopus App and select the "Top Up" button next to the Huawei Pay Octopus;
• Select "UnionPay App", then input top up amount and press "Top Up" to proceed;
• Proceed with UnionPay App authentication;
• Press "DONE" to complete top up of Huawei Pay Octopus.

To top up an Octopus in Huawei device, please follow the steps below:

• Select "Top-up" button on the Huawei Pay Octopus enquiry page;
• Select/input top up amount, then press "TOP UP";
• Select UnionPay credit card that was added in the HUAWEI Wallet or UnionPay App for payment, then press "PAY HK$";
• Proceed with Huawei or UnionPay App authentication;
• Press "DONE" to complete top up of Huawei Pay Octopus.

No. There is no charge for adding value through Octopus App or HUAWEI Wallet, via the AAVS, or adding value with cash at designated service providers.

You can activate AAVS for your Huawei Pay Octopus by opening the Octopus App, tapping "More" > "Automatic Add Value Service" > "Activate AAVS" and filling in the required information for activation.
